Our new facility has undergone a remarkable transformation since we began renovations. We knew this new space would create the opportunity to do more. But, these improvements have truly solidified our vision of what will be possible in the new chapter and opened up new possibilities we can’t wait to explore with you. Despite the usual obstacles that happen during construction, we’re incredibly excited to share the thrilling updates with you as we continue to update our future facility!

One of the most exciting parts of moving spaces is the opportunity this brings our operations to improve. From where things are kept to how volunteers and staff work and move in the space – we’re ensuring we take the time to optimize space for a higher performing and more enjoyable experience.  

Perks of Our New Home

  • More space! 4,550 sq ft compared to our old space which was 3,000 sq ft

  • Food Preparation and the Sorting / Delivery operations can be run simultaneously.

  • All deliveries and shipping done indoors

  • Increased electrified work surface area

  • Increased stove top and convection oven capacity

  • Dedicated vegetable processing area.

  • Increased pantry square footage

  • Dedicated meal packaging area and dedicated client sorting and packaging area with dedicated refrigeration. 

  • In house washer and dryer.

  • Increased refrigeration and freezer capacity.

  • Increased storage shelving for less often used equipment.

Looking for food?

Though we wish we could nourish everyone in need, Second Chance Foods does not directly distribute meals or groceries to individuals at this time. We utilize existing programs in the community and supplement their food with our meals and groceries. If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, please refer to our resource page here for our partnerships and local options.
